Jerome A. and Frances D. Yetsko Family Scholarship Fund

To provide a scholarship to a graduating senior from Portage Area High School or Tussey Mountain High School that has been accepted into an accredited post-secondary institution to study in a healthcare or education-related major. Eligible students must have at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and have a strong history of volunteer community service.

Jessie G. Ballentine Scholarship Fund

To provide a continuous 4-year scholarship to support a graduating senior from Brookville High School interested in pursuing post-secondary education at a four-year accredited college or university.

Jessie Tree Fund, in memory of Jessie Sutherland Gordon

To provide support to all branches of nonprofit arts organizations and initiatives, including student scholarships, in the local community.

JHS Interact Club Future Leader Scholarship Fund

To provide scholarship support for graduating senior Interact Club members at Greater Johnstown High School. Scholarships will be awarded to members who lead in the classroom and in the community.

Jim Janak Memorial Student Athlete Award Fund

To recognize outstanding high school athletes from Cambria County who excel in sports and support their academic pursuit in memory of Jim Janak.

Jim Miller Scholarship Fund

To provide an annual scholarship award to the graduating Valedictorian(s) at Bishop McCort High School pursuing a post-secondary education, established by Crown Investments Trust in memory of Jim Miller, a former Guidance Counselor at Bishop McCort High School.

Job Mann Trust Fund

To provide financial assistance to worthy and needy residents of Bedford County in their educational pursuits in preparation for serving as a Minister of the Gospel (i.e., “Parish Pastor”) in churches which practice evangelical Christianity.

Joe and Tony Kompardo Portage Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Scholarship Fund

To provide scholarships to members of the Portage Volunteer Fire Company with 2 years of active service or lifetime membership and/or Portage Area Ambulance Association employees looking to pursue higher education.

To provide support for school projects sponsored by the Johnstown High School Alumni Association.

Johnstown High School Class of 1950 Scholarship Fund

To provide an annual scholarship to a deserving senior of Greater Johnstown High School who plans to further his or her education in post-secondary studies (college, trade or technical school). The student must carry a C or better grade average and exhibit dire financial need.

Johnstown High School Class of 1955 Scholarship Fund

To provide a $500 scholarship for one Johnstown High School student in good academic standing who participates in community service and has unmet financial need.

Johnstown High School Class of 1957 Scholarship Fund

To support a $250.00 annual scholarship for senior students at Greater Johnstown School District who will be attending either the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown or Pennsylvania Highlands Community College.

Johnstown High School Class of 1959 Scholarship Fund

To provide scholarship support for the class salutatorian from the graduating class of Greater Johnstown High School to attend an accredited post-secondary institution of learning, not limited to a college or university.

Johnstown High School Class of 1969 Launch Fund

To provide support for Greater Johnstown School District and students participating in the high school vocational studies program to help meet the most critical needs of those students so that when they graduate they will have the ability to enter into their chosen profession fully prepared and ready to succeed.

Johnstown Ridgebacks Fund

To provide support for the Johnstown Ridgebacks youth mountain bike team.

Johnstown Running Club Fund

To provide support for the Johnstown Running Club, which serves as a resource for local runners and works to promote running and races in the Greater Johnstown region. Distributions from the fund may also be used to provide grants to local non-profit organizations as chosen by members of the JRC.

Johnstown Slavic Festival Fund

To support all efforts and activities of the Johnstown Slavic Festival, an event created to promote Slavic heritage and education in the Greater Johnstown region.

Johnstown State Theater Foundation Fund

To provide support to make the Johnstown State Theater once again a beacon of entertainment as a mixed-use facility celebrating the arts through cinema and live performances while offering fine dining experiences and luxury overnight accommodations. This fund will also help to create a new and exciting cultural arts district in Johnstown that promotes arts education and opportunities as a means for personal growth and wellbeing.

Johnstown Steelworks Baseball Fund

To provide support for Johnstown Steelworks Baseball, a team for middle and high school athletes in Cambria, Bedford, Indiana, and Somerset counties. The Fund will also help to support non-profit organizations, children in need, and other charitable efforts performed by the team members.

Johnstown Symphony Orchestra Fund

To assure the orchestra’s continued financial stability.

Johnstown Tomahawks Booster Club Fund

To promote and stimulate interest in amateur hockey, especially the Johnstown Tomahawks, and to perform various functions related thereto.

Johnstown Walk of Hope Fund

Donations are accepted to financially assist local cancer patients with their needs, which include medications, medical bills, travel, and other expenses. Over $366,000 has been raised to date with over 1500 patients served.  Donations will help patients at Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center, UPMC-Hillman Cancer Center, and Conemaugh Cancer Center. Your support is appreciated by patients, staff, and the JWOH teams that raise money all year long.
